Mark Dickens
As a British fine artist who has recently relocated to Abu Dhabi, Mark Dickens' work has been featured in prestigious collections worldwide. His artwork can be found in the Royal collections of H.H Sheikh Hamdan Bin Zayed Al Nahyan and also private-public collections, including the new Guggenheim Museum in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Mark has an impressive background as the official artist for Formula 1, commissioned by Bernie Ecclestone, and has completed other large-scale projects, such as the "Ferrari in Art" and "World Champions in Art" series of 32 paintings, which were purchased by Sebastian Vettel.

Mark Dickens is a rare breed of artist who is concerned with capturing and communicating the beauty of the world. While many contemporary artists focus on shock value or political commentary, Mark is more interested in evoking positive emotions and creating a sense of wonder through his art. He draws inspiration from both contemporary and historic sources, with a particular affinity for Renaissance artist Masaccio and contemporary artist Bill Viola.

In a world where the term "beauty" has fallen out of fashion, Mark's work stands out as a celebration of the divine and the transcendent. His use of mixed media collage, including print, fabric, gold-leaf, paint, and hand-written text set into resin, creates a multi-layered visual experience that speaks to what is important, what we should remember, and what images matter. By building layer upon layer of different elements, Mark's artworks are not only beautiful on the surface, but also reveal hidden depths that serve as a metaphor for time present and time past.

Mark's narratives remind us of the importance of beauty in our lives and how it can help us look beyond ourselves and our everyday concerns. His work is a testament to the enduring power of art and the human desire to seek out and appreciate beauty.
